كتاب افتتاح الصلاة
Rapporté par Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah : Son père a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) récitait la Umm Al-Quran et deux sourates dans les deux premières unités du zuhr et de l’asr, et dans les deux dernières avec la Umm Al-Quran. Parfois, il nous faisait entendre un verset, et il allongeait la première unité. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأُولَيَيْنِ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَسُورَتَيْنِ وَفِي الأُخْرَيَيْنِ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَكَانَ يُسْمِعُنَا الآيَةَ أَحْيَانًا وَكَانَ يُطِيلُ أَوَّلَ رَكْعَةٍ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah that his father said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite the Umm Al-Quran and two surahs in the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr and 'Asr, and in the last two with Umm Al-Quran, and he would make us hear a verse sometimes, and he used to make the first rak'ah lengthy
Traduction en ourdou
ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر اور عصر کی پہلی دونوں رکعتوں میں سورۃ فاتحہ اور ایک ایک سورت پڑھتے تھے، اور آخری دونوں رکعتوں میں صرف سورۃ فاتحہ پڑھتے، اور کبھی کبھار ہمیں ایک آدھ آیت سنا دیتے تھے، اور ظہر کی پہلی رکعت لمبی کرتے تھے۔
