كتاب افتتاح الصلاة
Rapporté par Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah : Son père a dit : "Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) nous dirigeait dans la prière, et il récitait dans les deux premières unités et nous faisait entendre certains versets. Et il allongeait la première unité dans le Zuhr, et aussi la première unité." (C'est-à-dire dans le Subh)

أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ دُرُسْتَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ، - وَهُوَ الْقَنَّادُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا الظُّهْرَ فَيَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأُولَيَيْنِ يُسْمِعُنَا الآيَةَ كَذَلِكَ وَكَانَ يُطِيلُ الرَّكْعَةَ فِي صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ وَالرَّكْعَةَ الأُولَى يَعْنِي فِي صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah narrated that:His father said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to lead us in prayer, and he would recite in the first two rak'ahs and make us hear some verses. And he would make the (first) Rak'ah lengthy in Zuhr, and also the first rak'ah." Meaning in Subh
Traduction en ourdou
ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کہتے ہیں کہ آپ ہمیں ظہر پڑھاتے تھے تو آپ پہلی دونوں رکعتوں میں قرآت کرتے، اور یونہی کبھی ایک آدھ آیت ہمیں سنا دیتے، اور ظہر اور فجر کی پہلی رکعت بہ نسبت دوسری رکعت کے لمبی کرتے تھے ۱؎۔
