Rapporté par Ibn Abdullah bin Mughaffal : Si Abdullah bin Mughaffal entendait l’un de nous réciter : "Au nom d’Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux", il disait : "J’ai prié derrière le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), derrière Abu Bakr et derrière Umar – que Allah les agrée tous les deux – et je n’ai entendu aucun d’eux réciter : 'Au nom d’Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو نُعَامَةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُغَفَّلٍ إِذَا سَمِعَ أَحَدَنَا، يَقْرَأُ { بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ } يَقُولُ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَخَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَخَلْفَ عُمَرَ رضى الله عنهما فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ قَرَأَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn Abdullah bin Mughaffal said:"If Abdullah bin Mughaffal heard any one of us recite: 'In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful', he would say: 'I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and behind Abu Bakr and behind Umar-may Allah be pleased with them both- and I did not hear any of them recite: 'In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن مغفل کے بیٹے کہتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ جب ہم میں سے کسی سے «بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحيم» پڑھتے ہوئے سنتے تو کہتے: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، اور عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پیچھے بھی نماز پڑھی لیکن میں نے ان میں سے کسی کو بھی «بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحيم» پڑھتے نہیں سنا ۱؎۔
