Hadith 1025 — Livre 11: The Book of the Commencement of the Prayer
كتاب افتتاح الصلاة
Rapporté par Salim : Son père a dit : « J’ai vu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) lorsqu’il commençait la prière, lever les mains jusqu’à la hauteur des épaules ; il faisait cela au début, en s’inclinant et en se relevant de l’inclinaison. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاَةَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Salim that:His father said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he started to pray, raise his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders, (and he did that) when he bowed and when he raised his head from bowing

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ جب آپ نماز شروع کرتے تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھاتے، یہاں تک کہ آپ انہیں اپنے مونڈھوں کے بالمقابل لے جاتے ۱؎، اور جب رکوع کرتے، اور جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو بھی ایسا ہی کرتے۔
