Rapporté par Jabir bin Samurah : Certains habitants d'Al-Kufah se sont plaints de Sa'd auprès de 'Umar. Ils ont dit : "Par Allah, il ne prie pas correctement." Il a répondu : "Je les dirige dans la prière comme le faisait le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), et je ne m'en écarte pas. أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ دَاوُدَ الطَّائِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ وَقَعَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ فِي سَعْدٍ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ فَقَالُوا وَاللَّهِ مَا يُحْسِنُ الصَّلاَةَ . فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُصَلِّي بِهِمْ صَلاَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ أَخْرِمُ عَنْهَا أَرْكُدُ فِي الأُولَيَيْنِ وَأَحْذِفُ فِي الأُخْرَيَيْنِ . قَالَ ذَاكَ الظَّنُّ بِكَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said:"Some of the peole of Al-Khufah complained about Sa'd to 'Umar. They said: 'By Allah, he does not pray properly.' He said: 'I lead them in prayer as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did, and I do not deviate from that. I take my time in the first two rak'ahs and make the other two shorter.' He (Umar) said: 'That is what I thought about you
Traduction en ourdou
جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ کوفہ کے چند لوگ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کی شکایت لے کر آئے، اور کہنے لگے: اللہ کی قسم! یہ اچھی طرح نماز نہیں پڑھاتے، ( عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پوچھنے پر ) سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں تو انہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سی نماز پڑھاتا ہوں، اس میں ذرا بھی کمی نہیں کرتا، پہلی دونوں رکعتوں میں قرأت لمبی کرتا ہوں، اور پچھلی دونوں رکعتوں میں ہلکی کرتا ہوں، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: تم سے یہی توقع ہے۔
