Rapporté par Ibn Abbas : J’ai passé la nuit chez ma tante maternelle Maymouna, et le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est levé pour prier la nuit. Je me suis mis à sa gauche, alors il a fait ceci : il m’a pris par la tête et m’a fait me placer à sa droite

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ بِتُّ عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقُمْتُ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ بِي هَكَذَا فَأَخَذَ بِرَأْسِي فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:"I stayed overnight with my maternal aunt Maimunah, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) got up to pray at night. I stood on his left, so he did this to me: He took me by the head and made me stand on his right

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے اپنی خالہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے گھر رات گزاری، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات میں اٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے لگے تو میں بھی آپ کے بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرے ساتھ اس طرح کیا یعنی آپ نے میرا سر پکڑ کر مجھے اپنی داہنی جانب کھڑا کر لیا۔
