كتاب الطهارة
Rapporté par Shu'bah : Habib a dit : « J'ai entendu 'Abbad bin Tamim rapporter de ma grand-mère – qui était Umm 'Umarah bint Ka'b – que le Prophète (ﷺ) a fait ses ablutions, et on lui a apporté un récipient contenant les deux tiers d'un mudd. » Shu'bah a dit : « Je me souviens qu'il a lavé ses avant-bras et a commencé à les frotter, et il a essuyé l'intérieur de son oreille, mais je ne me souviens pas s'il a essuyé l'extérieur. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبَّادَ بْنَ تَمِيمٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَدَّتِي، وَهِيَ أُمُّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتُ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَوَضَّأَ فَأُتِيَ بِمَاءٍ فِي إِنَاءٍ قَدْرَ ثُلُثَىِ الْمُدِّ . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَأَحْفَظُ أَنَّهُ غَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ يَدْلُكُهُمَا وَيَمْسَحُ أُذُنَيْهِ بَاطِنَهُمَا وَلاَ أَحْفَظُ أَنَّهُ مَسَحَ ظَاهِرَهُمَا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Shu'bah that Habib said:"I heard 'Abbad bin Tamim narrate from my grandmother - who was Umm 'Umarah bint Ka'b - that the Prophet (ﷺ) performed Wudu', and he was brought a vessel in which there were two-thirds of a Mudd." Shu'bah said: "I remember that he washed his forearms and started rubbing them, and he wiped the inside of his ear, but I do not remember whether he wiped the outside of them

ام عمارہ بنت کعب رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کا ارادہ کیا تو آپ کی خدمت میں ایک برتن میں دو تہائی مد کے بقدر پانی لایا گیا، ( شعبہ کہتے ہیں: مجھے اتنا اور یاد ہے کہ ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو دھویا، اور انہیں ملنے اور اپنے دونوں کانوں کے داخلی حصے کا مسح کرنے لگے، اور مجھے یہ نہیں یاد کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے اوپری ( ظاہری ) حصے کا مسح کیا۔
