كتاب قصر الصلاة
Nafé a rapporté que Abdallah Ibn Omar passant près d'un homme qui priait, le salua, quant à l'homme, il répondit verbalement. Abdallah Ibn Omar retourna vers l'homme et lui dit: «Lorsqu'on salue l'un de vous, alors qu'il est en prière, il ne doit pas répondre, mais qu'il se contente d'un geste de la main»

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَرَدَّ الرَّجُلُ كَلاَمًا فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ إِذَا سُلِّمَ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَلاَ يَتَكَلَّمْ وَلْيُشِرْ بِيَدِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar passed by a man who was praying and said, "Peace be upon you," and the man replied to him. Abdullah ibn Umar returned to him and said, "When someone says, 'Peace be upon you' to you while you are praying do not reply, but give a signal with your hand
Traduction en ourdou
نافع سے روایت ہے کہ عبداللہ بن عمر گزرے ایک شخص پر اور وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے تو سلام کیا اس کو اس نے جواب دیا زبان سے پھر لوٹے عبداللہ بن عمر اور کہا اس سے جب کوئی سلام کرے تم پر تم نماز پڑھتے ہو تو زبان سے جواب نہ دو بلکہ ہاتھ سے اشارہ کر دو ۔
