كتاب قصر الصلاة
Nafé a rapporté que Abdallah disait: «Celui qui pose son front sur la terre, qu'il mette ses mains la ou il pose son front. Quand il relève la tête, (de la prosternation) qu'il relève les mains également car les mains se prosternent comme le visage». Chapitre XX Le fait de se tourner et de battre les mains en cas de nécessité, pendant la prière

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ وَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ بِالأَرْضِ فَلْيَضَعْ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَى الَّذِي يَضَعُ عَلَيْهِ جَبْهَتَهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا رَفَعَ فَلْيَرْفَعْهُمَا فَإِنَّ الْيَدَيْنِ تَسْجُدَانِ كَمَا يَسْجُدُ الْوَجْهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say, "When one of you puts his forehead on the ground he should put his palms on the place where he puts his forehead. Then, when he rises, he should raise them, for the hands prostrate just as the face prostrates
Traduction en ourdou
نافع سے روایت ہے کہ عبداللہ بن عمر کہتے تھے جو شخص پیشانی زمین پر رکھے تو اپنے ہاتھ بھی زمین پر رکھے پھر منہ اٹھائے تو ہاتھ بھی اٹھائے اس لئے کہ ہاتھ بھی سجدہ کرتے ہیں جیسے منہ سجدہ کرتا ہے ۔
