كتاب قصر الصلاة
Aicha, la femme du Prophète (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «Je n'ai jamais vu l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) faire la prière de «Al-douha», que je ne l'ai faite moi-même. L'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) ne persévérait pas dans certaines pratiques cultuelles, bien qu'il aimait les faire de peur que les gens ne croient que cela leur est prescrit»

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي سُبْحَةَ الضُّحَى قَطُّ وَإِنِّي لأُسَبِّحُهَا وَإِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيَدَعُ الْعَمَلَ وَهُوَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَعْمَلَهُ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ بِهِ النَّاسُ فَيُفْرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Urwa ibn az- Zubayr that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I never once saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, doing the voluntary prayer of duha, but I myself do it. Sometimes the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would refrain from a practice that he loved to do, fearing that people would do the same and it would become fard for them
Traduction en ourdou
حضرت ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا نہیں دیکھا میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نماز چاشت کی پڑھتے ہوئے کبھی بھی مگر میں پڑھتی ہوں اس کو، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا قاعدہ تھا کہ ایک بات کو دوست رکھتے تھے مگر اس کو نہیں کرتے تھے اس خوف سے کہ لوگ بھی اس کو کرنے لگیں اور وہ فرض ہو جائے ۔
