كتاب قيام الليل
Hafsa, la femme du Prophète (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah), «après que le muezzin ait fait le premier appel à la prière de l'aurore, il faisait deux raka'ts légères, avant le deuxième appel». 286) 30 - Aicha, la femme du Prophète (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) faisait deux raka'ts légères avant la prière de l'aurore, si courtes, au point que je me disais, «a-t-il récité la mère du Livre ou non»

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ عَنِ الأَذَانِ لِصَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُقَامَ الصَّلاَةُ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, told him that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to pray two quick rakas when the muadhdhin had finished the adhan for the subh prayer, before the iqama was said for the prayer

حضرت ام المومنین حفصہ سے روایت ہے کہ جب اذان ہو چکتی صبح کی تو پڑھتے تھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دو رکعتیں ہلکی، جماعت کھڑی ہونے سے پیشتر ۔
