كتاب المسائل العامة
Abdallah Ibn Abi Bakr a rapporté d'après son père que l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «Si quelqu'un éternue et loue Allah», on répond: «Que Allah te fasse miséricorde», reprenant cela pour trois fois; mais à la quatrième, à lui dire: «Tu es enrhumé»! Et Abdallah Ibn Abi Bakr souligne: «Je ne sais s'il avait dit après la troisième ou la quatrième fois»

حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنْ عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ عَطَسَ فَقُلْ إِنَّكَ مَضْنُوكٌ " . قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ لاَ أَدْرِي أَبَعْدَ الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ
Traduction anglaise
Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr from his father that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If a man sneezes, invoke a blessing on him. Then if he sneezes, invoke a blessing on him. Then if he sneezes, invoke a blessing on him. Then if he sneezes, say, 'You have a cold'." Traduction en ourdou
محمد بن عمر بن حزم سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر کوئی شخص چھینکے تو اس کا جواب دو پھر اگر چھینکے تو جواب دو پھر چھینکے تو جھٹ کہہ دو تجھ زکام ہو گیا؟ عبداللہ بن ابی بکر نے کہا معلوم نہیں کہ تیسری کے بعد آپ نے یہ کہا یا چوتھی کے بعد ۔
