On rapporta à Safwan Ibn Soulaim que le Prophète r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «Celui qui se charge d'un orphelin qui soit un de ses proches ou un autre, et moi, seront au Paradis comme ces deux doigts, s'il craint Allah». «Disant cela, il montra le majeur et l'index de sa main». Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ إِذَا اتَّقَى " . وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبُعَيْهِ الْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik that Safwan ibn Sulaym heard that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I and the one who guards the orphan, whether for himself or for someone else, will be like these two in the Garden, when he has taqwa," indicating his middle and index fingers

صفوان بن سلیم کو پہنچا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا میں یتیم کا پالنے والا خواہ یتیم کا عزیز ہو یا غیر، بہشت میں ایسے ہیں جیسے یہ دونوں انگلیان جبکہ پرہیزگاری کرے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اشارہ کیا کلمہ کی انگلی اور بیچ کی انگی کی طرف ۔
