كتاب صفة النبي ﷺ
Jaber Ibn Abdallah Aï-Salami a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a interdit que l'on mange de la main gauche, ou de marcher en se chaussant un pied, ou de se calfeutrer d'un vêtement dit Al-Samma(2) , ou enfin de se couvrir d'un vêtement faisant apparaître une partie honteuse de son corps». (2) Vêtement couvrant les mains, de façon à ce qu'elles ne soient pas libres

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السَّلَمِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الرَّجُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ أَوْ يَمْشِيَ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَأَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ الصَّمَّاءَ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ كَاشِفًا عَنْ فَرْجِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zubayr from Jabir ibn Abdullah as-Salami that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade a man to eat with his left hand or walk in one sandal or wrap a single garment around his drawn-up legs exposing his genitals

جابر بن عبداللہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے منع کیا بائیں ہاتھ سے کھانے کو اور ایک جوتا پہن کر چلنے کا اور ایک کپڑا سر سے پاؤں تک لپیٹ لینے کو اور ایک کپڑا اوڑھ کر گوٹ مار کر بیٹھنے کو اس طرح کہ شرم گاہ کھلی رہے ۔
