Yahia Al-Mazini a rapporté que son père a dit: «Il y avait dans le jardin de son grand-père, un ruisselet qui appartenait à Abdul-Rahman Ibn Awf. Comme Abdul Rahman voulait détourner le cours de ce ruisselet vers un endroit proche de son terrain, le propriétaire (qui est le grand-père) le lui interdit; alors Abdul Rahman ayant fait apprendre cela à Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, il lui donna le droit de le faire». وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ فِي حَائِطِ جَدِّهِ رَبِيعٌ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فَأَرَادَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَهُ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْحَائِطِ هِيَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى أَرْضِهِ فَمَنَعَهُ صَاحِبُ الْحَائِطِ فَكَلَّمَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَضَى لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ بِتَحْوِيلِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Malik related to me from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini that his father said, "There was a stream in my grand-father's garden belonging to Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf wanted to transfer it to a corner of the garden nearer to his land, and the owner of the garden prevented him. Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf spoke to Umar ibn al-Khattab about it, and he gave a judgement to Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf that he should transfer it
Traduction en ourdou
یحیی بن عمارہ سے روایت ہے کہ میرے دادا کے باغ میں سے ہو کر ایک نہر بہتی تھی عبدالرحمن بن عوف کی عبدالرحمن نے یہ چاہا کہ اس کو باغ کی دوسری طرف سے لے جائیں کیونکہ وہ قریب تھا ان کی زمین سے لیکن باغ کے مالک یعنی میرے داد نے اجازت نہ دی عبدالرحمن نے حضرت عمر سے بیان کیا حضرت عمر نے اجازت دے دی ۔
