كتاب الصلاة
Ata Ibn Yassar a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «lorsque l'un de vous, doute dans sa prière, du nombre des raka'ts déjà faites, sont-elles à trois ou à quatre, qu'il fasse une quatrième raka't puis qu'il fasse deux prosternations tout en étant assis, avant la salutation finale. Si cette raka't était la cinquième, ces deux prosternations rendraient les raka'ts à un nombre pair. Et si cette raka't était la quatrième, ces deux prosternations seraient une humiliation du démon»

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَتِهِ فَلَمْ يَدْرِ كَمْ صَلَّى أَثَلاَثًا أَمْ أَرْبَعًا فَلْيُصَلِّي رَكْعَةً وَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ فَإِنْ كَانَتِ الرَّكْعَةُ الَّتِي صَلَّى خَامِسَةً شَفَعَهَا بِهَاتَيْنِ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ رَابِعَةً فَالسَّجْدَتَانِ تَرْغِيمٌ لِلشَّيْطَانِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If you are uncertain in the prayer and do not know whether you have prayed three or four rakas, then pray a raka and make two prostrations from the sitting position before the taslim. If the raka that you prayed was the fifth, then you make it even by these two sajdas, and if it was the fourth, then the two prostrations spite Shaytan
Traduction en ourdou
عطاء بن یسار سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جب شک ہو تم میں سے کسی کو نماز میں تو نہ یاد رہے اس کہ تین رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں یا چار تو چاہئے کہ ایک رکعت اور پڑھ لے اور دو سجدے کرے قبل سلام کے پھر اگر یہ رکعت جو اس نے پڑھی ہے درحقیقت پانچویں ہوگی تو ان سجدوں سے مل کر ایک دوگانہ ہو جائے گا اگر چوتھی ہوگی تو ان سجدوں سے ذلت ہوگی شیطان کو۔
