Hadith 148 — Livre 3: Prayer
كتاب الصلاة
Abou Houraira a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «Si les gens savaient le mérite qu'il y a, à faire l'appel à la prière, et d'être au premier rang (faisant la prière en commun) et qu'ils ne trouvent pas d'autres moyens pour y arriver que le tirage au sort, ils auraient tiré au sort. S'ils savaient ce qu'il y a comme mérite en arrivant tôt pour prier dans la mosquée, ils se seraient hâtés d'y accourir. Et s'ils savaient ce qu'il y a comme mérite à faire la prière du soir et celle de l'aurore en commun, ils se seraient rendus, en trainant même à quatre pattes»

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّفِّ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَسْتَهِمُوا عَلَيْهِ لاَسْتَهَمُوا وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ لاَسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ لأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Sumayy, the mawla of Abu Bakr ibn Abd ar-Rahman, from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If people knew what was in the adhan and the first row of the prayer and could only draw lots for it, they would draw lots. And if they knew what was in doing dhuhr early, they would race each other to it. And if they knew what was in isha and subh, they would go to them even if they had to crawl
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت ہے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اگر معلوم ہوتا لوگوں کو جو کچھ اذان دینے میں اور صف اول میں ثواب میں پھر نہ پا سکتے ان کو بغیر قرعہ کے البتہ قرعہ ڈالتے اور اگر معلوم ہوتا لوگوں کو جو کچھ نماز کے اول وقت پڑھنے میں ثواب ہے البتہ جلدی کرتے اس کی طرف اور اگر معلوم ہوتا جو کچھ ثواب ہے عشاء اور صبح کی نماز باجماعت پڑھنے کا البتہ آتے جماعت میں گھٹنوں کے بل گھسٹتے ہوئے ۔
