Hadith 1093 — Livre 28: Marriage
كتاب النكاح
Abdel-Rahman Ibn Al-Kassem a rapporté que, son père, interprétant ce verset: «II n'y aura aucune faute à vous reprocher, si vous faites allusion à une demande en mariage, ou si vous ne parlez à personne de votre intention. Allah sait que vous pensez à ces femmes cependant, ne leur promettez rien en secret: Dites-leur simplement les paroles qui conviennent» Coran II, 235. Il disait: «Que l'homme dise à une femme, alors qu'elle est dans la période d'attente suivant la mort de son mari «Tu m'es si chère, je désire ta personne, et que Allah amène vers toi du bien et des bienfaits» ou encore d'autres paroles du même sens. Chapitre II Demander le consentement de la fille vierge, et de la veuve pour les épouser

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى {وَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَاءِ أَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلَكِنْ لاَ تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلاَّ أَنْ تَقُولُوا قَوْلاً مَعْرُوفًا} أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ وَهِيَ فِي عِدَّتِهَا مِنْ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا إِنَّكِ عَلَىَّ لَكَرِيمَةٌ وَإِنِّي فِيكِ لَرَاغِبٌ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَسَائِقٌ إِلَيْكِ خَيْرًا وَرِزْقًا وَنَحْوَ هَذَا مِنَ الْقَوْلِ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd ar-Rahman ibn al-Qasim that his father said about the word of Allah, the Blessed, the Exalted, "There is no fault in you about the proposal you offer to women, or hide in yourselves. Allah knows that you will be mindful of them; but do not make troth with them secretly without honourable words," (Sura 2 ayat 235) that it referred to a man saying to a woman while she was still in her idda after the death of her husband, "You are dear to me, and I desire you, and Allah brings provision and blessing to you," and words such as these

قاسم بن محمد کہتے تھے اس آیت کی تفسیر میں (وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِ يْمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِه مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَا ءِ اَوْ اَكْنَنْتُمْ فِيْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ عَلِمَ اللّٰهُ اَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُوْنَهُنَّ وَلٰكِنْ لَّا تُوَاعِدُوْھُنَّ سِرًّا اِلَّا اَنْ تَقُوْلُوْا قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوْفًا ڛ وَلَا تَعْزِمُوْا عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتّٰي يَبْلُغَ الْكِتٰبُ اَجَلَه وَاعْلَمُوْ ا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِىْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوْهُ وَاعْلَمُوْ ا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ ) 2۔ البقرۃ : 235) یعنی گناہ نہیں ہے تم پر تعریض کرنا کسی عورت سے جب وہ عدت میں ہو۔ تعریض اس کو کہتے ہیں کہ مرد عورت سے کہلا بھیجے تو مجھے پسند ہے یا میں تجھ سے رغبت کرتا ہوں یا اللہ تجھ کو بہتری اور روزی پہنچانے والا ہے یا ایسی کوئی بات کہے ۔
