كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Ourwa Ibn Ouzaina Al-Laithi a rapporté: «Je quittai, avec ma grand-mère qui avait à faire une marche à pieds à la Maison d'Allah. Mais, à une certaine distance, elle ne pouvait plus poursuivre sa marche. Elle envoya son esclave auprès de Abdallah Ibn Omar le consulter; je partis avec cet esclave qui demanda l'avis de Abdallah Ibn Omar. Il lui répondit: «Ordonne la de marcher, puis de monter du lieu même où elle ne peut plus poursuivre sa marche à pieds». Yahia a rapporté qu'il a entendu Malek dire: «d'autant plus, elle doit à cela faire une offrande». (.....) 5 - On rapporta à Malek que Sa'id Ibn Al Moussaiab et Abou Salama Ibn Abdel Rahman ont approuvé le dire de Abdallah Ibn Omar»

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ جَدَّةٍ لِي عَلَيْهَا مَشْىٌ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِبَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ عَجَزَتْ فَأَرْسَلَتْ مَوْلًى لَهَا يَسْأَلُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَخَرَجْتُ مَعَهُ فَسَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ مُرْهَا فَلْتَرْكَبْ ثُمَّ لْتَمْشِي مِنْ حَيْثُ عَجَزَتْ . قَالَ يَحْيَى وَسَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا يَقُولُ وَنَرَى عَلَيْهَا مَعَ ذَلِكَ الْهَدْىَ . وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبَا، سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَانَا يَقُولاَنِ مِثْلَ قَوْلِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik that Urwa ibn Udhayna al-Laythi said, "I went out with my grandmother who had vowed to walk to the House of Allah. When we had gone part of the way, she could not go on. I sent one of her mawlas to question Abdullah ibn Umar and I went with him. He asked Abdullah ibn Umar, and Abdullah ibn Umar said to him, 'Take her and let her ride, and when she has the strength let her ride back, and start to walk from the place from which she was unable to go on.'~ Yahya said that he had heard Malik say, "I think that she must sacrifice an animal." Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Said ibn al-Musayyab and Abu Salama ibn Abd ar- Rahman said the same as Abdullah ibn Umar
Traduction en ourdou
عروہ بن اذینه لیثی سے روایت ہے کہ کہا میں نکلا اپنی دادی کے ساتھ اور اس نے نذر کی تھی بیت اللہ تک پیدل جانے کی، راستے میں تھک گئیں تو اپنے غلام کو بھیجا عبداللہ بن عمر کے پاس مسئلہ پوچھنے کو میں بھی ساتھ گیا اس نے عبداللہ بن عمر سے پوچھا انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ اب سوار ہو جائے پھر دوبارہ جب آئے جہاں سے سوار ہوئی تھیں وہاں سے پیدل چلے ۔ کہا مالک نے اور باوجود اس کے ایک ہدیہ بھی اس پر واجب ہے ۔ سعید بن مسیب اور ابا سلمہ بن عبدالرحمن کہتے تھے اس مسئلہ میں جیسا عبداللہ بن عمر نے کہا ۔
