كتاب الجهاد
Abou Houraira a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «Par celui qui tient mon âme entre ses mains! Je voudrais bien combattre dans la voie d'Allah, et que je sois tué, puis que je revive, puis être tué, puis que je revive de nouveau et enfin tué». Abou Houraira en rapportant cela disait: «J'en jure par Allah trois fois»

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا فَأُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا فَأُقْتَلُ " . فَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ ثَلاَثًا أَشْهَدُ بِاللَّهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "By He in whose hand my self is! I would like to fight in the way of Allah and be killed, then be brought to life again so I could be killed, and then be brought to life again so I could be killed." Abu Hurayra said three times, "I testify to it by Allah
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت ہے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قسم ہے اس کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے میں نے چاہی یہ بات کہ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑوں پھر قتل کیا جاؤں پھر جلایا جاؤں پھر قتل کیا جاؤں پھر جلایا جاؤں پھر قتل کیا جاؤں۔ ابوہریرہ کہتے تھے؛ اس بات کی میں تین بار گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسا ہی فرمایا ۔
