كتاب الجهاد
Abdallah Ibn Abbas a dit: «Jamais une fraude n'apparut chez des gens, sans que la frayeur n'ait pris leur cœur; quand l'adultère se répand chez les gens la mort augmente quand les gens faussent la mesure et la balance, ils seront privés des biens; quand les gens ne jugent pas selon la vérité, la tuerie se propagera parmi eux; quand les gens trahissent le pacte, Allah donnera le pouvoir sur eux à leur ennemi». وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا ظَهَرَ الْغُلُولُ فِي قَوْمٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ أُلْقِيَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبُ وَلاَ فَشَا الزِّنَا فِي قَوْمٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ كَثُرَ فِيهِمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلاَ نَقَصَ قَوْمٌ الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ إِلاَّ قُطِعَ عَنْهُمُ الرِّزْقُ وَلاَ حَكَمَ قَوْمٌ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ إِلاَّ فَشَا فِيهِمُ الدَّمُ وَلاَ خَتَرَ قَوْمٌ بِالْعَهْدِ إِلاَّ سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعَدُوَّ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that he had heard that Abdullah ibn Abbas said, "Stealing from the spoils does not appear in a people but that terror is cast into their hearts. Fornication does not spread in a people but that there is much death among them. A people do not lessen the measure and weight but that provision is cut off from them. A people do not judge without right but that blood spreads among them. A people do not betray the pledge but that Allah gives their enemies power over them
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ جو قوم غنیمت کے مال میں چوری کرتی ہے ان کے دل بودے ہو جاتے ہیں، اور جس قوم میں زنا زیادہ ہو جاتا ہے ان میں موت بھی بہت زیادہ ہو جاتی ہے، اور جو قوم ناپ تول میں کمی کرتی ہے ان کی روزی بند ہو جاتی ہے، اور جو قوم ناحق فیصلہ کرتی ہے ان میں خون زیادہ ہو جاتا ہے، اور جو قوم عہد توڑتی ہے ان پر دشمن غالب ہو جاتا ہے ۔
