كتاب الحج
Hicham Ibn Ourwa a rapporté que son père disait à ses fils: «O fils! Qu'aucun d'entre vous n'offre pour sacrifice, ce dont il a honte de l'offrir à un homme généreux, car Allah est de plus généreux que les généreux, et II est le meilleur à qui l'on fait offrande. Chapitre XL VII De ce qui est à faire pour les bêtes sacrifiées si elles sont malsaines ou égarées

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ لِبَنِيهِ يَا بَنِيَّ لاَ يُهْدِيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ الْبُدْنِ شَيْئًا يَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ يُهْدِيَهُ لِكَرِيمِهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَكْرَمُ الْكُرَمَاءِ وَأَحَقُّ مَنِ اخْتِيرَ لَهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa that his father used to say to his sons, "My sons, let none of you sacrifice any animal which he would be ashamed to sacrifice for a noble woman, for surely Allah is the noblest of noble ones, and the most deserving of those for whom things are chosen
Traduction en ourdou
عروہ بن زبیر اپنے بیٹوں سے کہتے تھے اے میرے بیٹو! اللہ کے لئے تم میں سے کوئی ایسا اونٹ نہ دے جو آپ اپنے دوست کو دیتے ہوئے شرماتے ہو اس لئے کہ اللہ جل جلالہ سب کریموں سے کریم ہے اور زیادہ حقدار ہے اس امر کا کہ اس کے واسطے چیز چن کر دی جائے۔
