كتاب الطهارة
Nafe' a rapporté que Abdallah Ibn Omar frottait ses mains jusqu'aux coudes, en faisant la lustration pulvérale. On demanda à Malek au sujet de la lustration pulvérale et du comment faire, il répondit: «on frappe le sol une fois avec les mains qu'on fait passer sur le visage, et deux fois en les faisant passer sur les bras jusqu'aux coudes». Chapitre XXV La lustration pulvérale de l'homme rituellement impur;

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَتَيَمَّمُ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ . وَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ كَيْفَ التَّيَمُّمُ وَأَيْنَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ فَقَالَ يَضْرِبُ ضَرْبَةً لِلْوَجْهِ وَضَرْبَةً لِلْيَدَيْنِ وَيَمْسَحُهُمَا إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to do tayammum up to his elbows. Malik was asked about how tayammum was done and what parts were covered and he said, "Strike the ground once for the face and once for the arms and wipe them to the elbows

نافع سے روایت ہے کہ عبداللہ بن عمر تیمم کر تے تھے دونوں کہنیوں تک ۔
