كتاب الطهارة
Nafe' a rapporté qu'en revenant de «Al-Jourof», Abdallah Ibn Omar et lui, arrivés à «Al-Mirbad», Abdallah descendit de sa monture, et fit une lustration pulvérale avec du bon sable, il fit passer ses mains (après avoir frappé sur le sol) sur son visage, et les mains jusqu'aux coudes, puis il pria»

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ أَقْبَلَ هُوَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ مِنَ الْجُرُفِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَا بِالْمِرْبَدِ نَزَلَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَتَيَمَّمَ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar and he were approaching Juruf. When they got to Mirbad, Abdullah got down and did tayammum with some good earth. He wiped his face, and his arms to the elbows, and then prayed

نافع کہتے ہیں کہ میں اور عبداللہ بن عمر جرف سے آئے تو جب پہنچے مربد کو اترے عبداللہ اور متوجہ ہوئے پاک زمین کی طرف تو مسح کیا اپنے منہ کا اور ہاتھوں کا کہنیوں تک پھر نماز پڑھی ۔
