كتاب الجنائز
Abou Houraira a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «tout nouveau-né, naît sur la "fitra"; ses parents font de lui soit un juif, ou un chrétien; comme les chameaux qui naissent d'une chamelle saine et intégrale; vois-tu parmi ces chamelets un seul dont un membre est amputé»? On lui demanda: «Ô Envoyé d'Allah! Que penses-tu de ceux qui meurent en bas âge»? Il répondit: «Allah, connaît ce qu'ils auraient fait»

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ : " كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ، كَمَا تُنَاتَجُ الإِبِلُ مِنْ بَهِيمَةٍ جَمْعَاءَ هَلْ تُحِسُّ فِيهَا مِنْ جَدْعَاءَ " . قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ قَالَ : " اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Every child is born on the fitra and it is his parents who make him a jew or a christian. Just as a camel is born whole - do you perceive any defect?" They said, "Messenger of Allah, what happens to people who die when they are (very) young?" He said, "Allah knows best what they used to do
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت ہے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہر بچہ پیدا ہوتا ہے دین اسلام پر پھر ماں باپ اس کے اس کو یہودی بناتے ہیں یا نصرانی بناتے ہیں جیسے اونٹ پیدا ہوتا ہے صحیح سلامت جانور سے بھلا اس میں کوئی کنکٹا بھی ہوتا ہے صحابہ نے کہا یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جو بچے چھوٹے پن میں مر جائیں ان کا کیا حال ہوگا فرمایا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو وہ کرتے ہیں بڑے ہو کر ۔
