كتاب القرآن
On fit savoir à Yahia Ibn Sa'id que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) invoquait Allah par ces mots: «Grand Seigneur, c'est Toi qui ouvre l'aube. Toi qui assigne la nuit au repos, qui fais du soleil et de la lune une mesure de temps! Acquitte-moi de ma dette, enrichis-moi de la pauvreté, et fais-moi jouir de mon ouie, de ma vue, et de ma force dans Ton chemin». (Allahumma faliqa'l isbah, wa ja ila'l-layli sakana, wa'sh-shamsi wa'l-qamari housbana. iqdi anniy addayna, wa'ghnaniy mina'l faqr. Na'mti aniy bi samiy wa basariy, wa qouwwatiy fi sabilik)

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَدْعُو فَيَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ فَالِقَ الإِصْبَاحِ وَجَاعِلَ اللَّيْلِ سَكَنًا وَالشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ حُسْبَانًا اقْضِ عَنِّي الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنِي مِنَ الْفَقْرِ وَأَمْتِعْنِي بِسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي وَقُوَّتِي فِي سَبِيلِكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say the following dua, "O Allah, it is You who makes the dawn break and makes the night a time for rest and appoints the sun and moon to reckon by. Relieve me of debt and enrich me from poverty and let me enjoy my hearing, my sight and my strength in Your way." Allahumma faliqa'l isbah, wa ja ila'l-layli sakana, wa 'sh-shamsi wa'l-qamari husbana. Iqda anniy addayna, wa'ghnaniy mina'l faqr. Na'mti aniy bi samiy wa basariy, wa quwwatiy fi sabilik

یحیی بن سعید کو پہنچا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دعا مانگتے تھے پس فرماتے تھے اے اللہ پیدا کرنے والے صبح کو اور رات کو راحت بنانے والے اور سورج اور چاند کے حساب سے چلانے والے ادا کر تو قرض میرا اور غنی کر مجھ کو محتاجی سے اور فائدہ دے مجھ کو میرے کان اور آنکھ سے اور میری قوت سے اپنی راہ میں ۔
