Hadith 460 — Livre 14: The Qibla
كتاب القبلة
Abdallah Ibn Omar a rapporté: «alors que les gens faisaient la prière de l'aube à «Qouba», quelqu'un vint leur dire: «Cette nuit, l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) reçut une révélation; il a été ordonné de se diriger vers la qibla (en priant), dirigez-vous donc vers elle». Les hommes se tournèrent vers la Syrie, et ensuite ils s'orientèrent vers la qibla»

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا النَّاسُ بِقُبَاءٍ فِي صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ آتٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلَةَ قُرْآنٌ وَقَدْ أُمِرَ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْكَعْبَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلُوهَا وَكَانَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَاسْتَدَارُوا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "On one occasion when the people were praying subhat Quba a man came to them and said, 'A piece of Qur'an was sent down to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, last night, and he was ordered to face the Kaba, so face it.' They had been facing ash-Sham, so they turned round and faced the Kaba

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ لوگ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے مسجد قبا میں صبح کی اتنے میں ایک شخص آکر بولا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر رات کو قرآن اترا اور حکم ہوا کعبہ کی طرف منہ کرنے کا پھر گئے وہ لوگ نماز میں کعبہ کی طرف اور پہلے منہ ان کے شام کی طرف تھے ۔
