Rapporté par ‘Abdullah رضي الله عنه, selon la même chaîne de transmetteurs, avec ce détail supplémentaire : « Ensuite, il cessa de prier pour eux (les hypocrites). »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، - وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ - عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ وَزَادَ قَالَ فَتَرَكَ الصَّلاَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ .
Traduction anglaise
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah with the same chain of transmitters but with this addition:" He then abandoned offering (funeral) prayer for them

یحییٰ قطان نے عبیداللہ ( بن عمر بن حفص ) سے اسی سند کے ساتھ اسی طرح حدیث بیان کی اور مزید یہ کہا : چنانچہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان پر نماز جنازہ ترک کر دی ۔
