Hadith 1211 — Livre 5: The Book of Mosques and Places of Prayer

Rapporté par Abu Darda’ : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ s’est levé pour prier et nous l’avons entendu dire : « Je cherche protection auprès d’Allah contre toi. » Puis il a dit : « Je te maudis avec la malédiction d’Allah » trois fois, puis il a tendu la main comme s’il attrapait quelque chose. Quand il a terminé la prière, nous lui avons dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, nous t’avons entendu dire des paroles pendant la prière que nous n’avions jamais entendues auparavant, et nous t’avons vu tendre la main. » Il a répondu : « L’ennemi d’Allah, Iblis, est venu avec une flamme de feu pour la jeter sur mon visage. J’ai donc dit trois fois : “Je cherche protection auprès d’Allah contre toi.” Puis j’ai dit trois fois : “Je te maudis avec la malédiction complète d’Allah.” Mais il n’a pas reculé. Ensuite, j’ai voulu le saisir. Je jure par Allah que si ce n’était pas pour l’invocation de mon frère Sulaiman, il aurait été attaché et aurait servi de jeu aux enfants de Médine. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمُرَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَمِعْنَاهُ يَقُولُ " أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَلْعَنُكَ بِلَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ " . ثَلاَثًا . وَبَسَطَ يَدَهُ كَأَنَّهُ يَتَنَاوَلُ شَيْئًا فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ سَمِعْنَاكَ تَقُولُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ شَيْئًا لَمْ نَسْمَعْكَ تَقُولُهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَرَأَيْنَاكَ بَسَطْتَ يَدَكَ . قَالَ " إِنَّ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ إِبْلِيسَ جَاءَ بِشِهَابٍ مِنْ نَارٍ لِيَجْعَلَهُ فِي وَجْهِي فَقُلْتُ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ . ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ أَلْعَنُكَ بِلَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ فَلَمْ يَسْتَأْخِرْ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ أَرَدْتُ أَخْذَهُ وَاللَّهِ لَوْلاَ دَعْوَةُ أَخِينَا سُلَيْمَانَ لأَصْبَحَ مُوثَقًا يَلْعَبُ بِهِ وِلْدَانُ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Darda' reported:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stood up (to pray) and we heard him say:" I seek refuge in Allah from thee." Then said:" curse thee with Allah's curse" three times, then he stretched out his hand as though he was taking hold of something. When he finished the prayer, we said: Messenger of Allah, we heard you say something during the prayer which we have not heard you say before, and we saw you stretch out your hand. He replied: Allah's enemy Iblis came with a flame of fire to put it in my face, so I said three times:" I Seek refuge in Allah from thee." Then I said three times:" I curse thee with Allah's full curse." But he did not retreat (on any one of these) three occasions. Thereafter I meant to seize him. I swear by Allah that had it not been for the supplication of my brother Sulaiman he would have been bound, and made an object of sport for the children of Medina
Traduction en ourdou
حضرت ابو درداء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے ، انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ قیام ( کی حالت ) میں تھے کہ ہم نے آپ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : ‘ ‘ میں تجھ سے اللہ کی پنا میں آتا ہوں ۔ ’’ پھر آپ نے فرمایا : ‘ ‘ میں تجھ پر اللہ کی لعنت بھیجتا ہوں ۔ ’’ آپ نے یہ تین بار کہا اور آپ نے اپنا ہاتھ بڑھایا ، گویا کہ آپ کسی چیز کو پکڑ رہے ہیں ، جب آپ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو ہم نے پوچھا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ہم نے آب کو نماز میں کچھ کہتے سنا ہے جو اس سے پہلے آب کو کبھی کہتے نہیں سنا اور ہم نے آپ کو دیکھا کہ آپ نے اپنا ہاتھ ( آگے ) بڑھایا ۔ آب نے فرمایا ‘ ‘ اللہ دشمن ابلیس آگ کا ایک شعلہ لے کر آیا تھا تا کہ اسے میرے چہرے پر ڈال دے ، میں نے تین دفعہ اعوذ باللہ منک ‘ ‘ میں تجھ سے اللہ کی پنا ہ مانگتا ہوں’’ کہا ، پھر میں نے تین بار کہا : میں تجھ پر اللہ کی کامل لعنت بھیجتا ہوں ۔ وہ پھر بھی پیچھے نہ ہٹا تو میں نے اسے پکڑ نے کا ارادہ کر لیا ۔ اللہ کی قسم ! اگر ہمارے بھائی سلیمان علیہ السلام کی دعا نہ ہوتی تو وہ صبح تک بندھا رہتا اور مدینہ والوں کے بچے اس کے ساتھ کھیلتے ۔ ’’
