Hadith 6647 — Livre 45: The Book of Virtue, Enjoining Good Manners, and Joining of the Ties of Kinship

Rapporté par Sulaiman b. Surad : Deux personnes se sont insultées en présence du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et l’un d’eux s’est mis en colère et son visage est devenu rouge. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ l’a vu et a dit : « Je connais une parole ; s’il la disait, il sortirait de sa colère : “Je cherche protection auprès d’Allah contre Satan le maudit.” » Quelqu’un qui avait entendu cela du Messager d’Allah ﷺ est allé le voir et lui a dit : « Sais-tu ce qu’a dit le Messager d’Allah ﷺ ? Il a dit : “Je connais une parole ; s’il la disait, sa colère disparaîtrait : ‘Je cherche protection auprès d’Allah contre Satan le maudit.’” » Et la personne a répondu : « Me trouves-tu fou ? »

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، سَمِعْتُ الأَعْمَشَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ، يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، قَالَ اسْتَبَّ رَجُلاَنِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَجَعَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا يَغْضَبُ وَيَحْمَرُّ وَجْهُهُ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " إِنِّي لأَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ ذَا عَنْهُ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ " . فَقَامَ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ رَجُلٌ مِمَّنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ أَتَدْرِي مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم آنِفًا قَالَ " إِنِّي لأَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ ذَا عَنْهُ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ " . فَقَالَ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ أَمَجْنُونًا تَرَانِي
Traduction anglaise
Sulaiman b. Surad reported that two persons abused each other in the presence of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and one of them fell into a rage and his face became red. Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) saw him and said:I know of a wording; if he were to utter that, he would get out (of the fit of anger) (and the wording is): I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed. Thereupon, a person went to him who had heard that from Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said to him: Do you know what Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said? He (the Holy Prophet) said: I know of a wording; if he were to say that, (the fit) would be no more (and the words are): I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed. And the person said to him: Do you find me mad?

ابواسامہ نے کہا : میں نے اعمش سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے : میں نے عدی بن ثابت سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ ہمیں سلیمان بن صرد رضی اللہ عنہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے دو آدمیوں نے آپس میں گالم گلوچ کیا ۔ ان میں سے ایک کو غصہ چڑھنا شروع ہو گیا اور اس کا چہرہ سرخ ہونے لگا ۔ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کی طرف نظر کی اور فرمایا : " مجھے ایک کلمے : " اعوذبالله من الشيطان الرجيم " کا پتہ ہے ۔ اگر یہ شخص وہ ( کلمہ ) کہہ دے تو اس سے یہ ( غصہ ) جاتا رہے گا ۔ " نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( یہ بات ) سننے والوں میں سے ایک آدمی اٹھ کر اس شخص کی طرف گیا اور کہا : تمہیں پتہ ہے کہ ابھی ابھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیا فرمایا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا ہے : " مجھے ایک ایسے کلمے : " اعوذبالله من الشيطان الرجيم " کا پتہ ہے ۔ اگر یہ ( شخص ) وہ ( کلمہ ) کہہ دے تو اس سے یہ کیفیت جاتی رہے گی ۔ " اس شخص نے کہا : کیا تم یہ سمجھ رہے ہو کہ میں جنون کا شکار ہو گیا ہوں؟
