Hadith 6329 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Abu Ishaq : Il a entendu Abu’l-Ahwas dire : J’étais avec Abu Musa et Abu Mas’ud lorsque Ibn Mas’ud est décédé. L’un a dit à l’autre : « Connais-tu quelqu’un comme lui, à part lui ? » L’autre a répondu : « Dis-tu qu’il n’a pas d’égal ? Il a été admis auprès du Prophète alors que nous étions retenus, et il était présent auprès du Messager d’Allah ﷺ alors que nous étions absents. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ الْمُثَنَّى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ، بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الأَحْوَصِ، قَالَ شَهِدْتُ أَبَا مُوسَى وَأَبَا مَسْعُودٍ حِينَ مَاتَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ أَتُرَاهُ تَرَكَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ فَقَالَ إِنْ قُلْتَ ذَاكَ إِنْ كَانَ لَيُؤْذَنُ لَهُ إِذَا حُجِبْنَا وَيَشْهَدُ إِذَا غِبْنَا .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Ishaq reported that he heard Abu'l-Ahwas say:I was along with Abu Musa and Abu Mas'ud as Ibn Mas'ud died and one of them said to the other: Do you find one like him besides him? Thereupon he said: Do you say this (no one can be his rival)? He was admitted (to the company of the Holy Prophet) whereas we were detained and he had been present in the company of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) whereas we had been absent
Traduction en ourdou
ابو اسحٰق سے روایت ہے انھوں نے کہا : میں نے ابو حوص سے سنا ، انھوں نے کہا : جس وقت حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کا انتقال ہوا میں نے اس وقت حضرت ابو موسیٰ اور حضرت مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے ہاں حاضری دی تو ان میں سے ایک نے دوسرے سے پو چھا : کیا آپ سمجھتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنے بعد کو ئی ایسا شخص چھوڑ گئے ہیں جو ان جیسا ہو ؟انھوں نے جواب دیا : جب آپ نے یہ بات کہہ دی تو حقیقت یہ ہے کہ انھیں اس وقت ( رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں ) حاضری کی اجا زت ہو تی تھی ، جب ہمیں روک لیا جا تاتھا ، اور وہ اس وقت بھی حاضر رہتے تھےجب ہم مو جو دنہ ہو تے تھے ۔
