Hadith 6295 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Aïcha رضي الله عنها : J’ai entendu dire qu’aucun prophète ne meurt sans qu’on lui donne le choix entre la vie d’ici-bas et celle de l’au-delà. Elle a ajouté : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire, lors de sa dernière maladie, d’une voix rauque : « Avec ceux qu’Allah a comblés de Ses bienfaits parmi les prophètes, les véridiques, les martyrs, les pieux : quelle belle compagnie ! » (sourate 4, verset 69). (En entendant ces paroles), j’ai compris qu’on lui avait donné le choix et qu’il avait choisi de rejoindre ces pieux au Paradis

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ الْمُثَنَّى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ، بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ أَنَّهُ لَنْ يَمُوتَ نَبِيٌّ حَتَّى يُخَيَّرَ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ - قَالَتْ - فَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ وَأَخَذَتْهُ بُحَّةٌ يَقُولُ { مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا} قَالَتْ فَظَنَنْتُهُ خُيِّرَ حِينَئِذٍ .
Traduction anglaise
A'isha reported:I heard that never a prophet dies until he is given an option to opt the life of (this) world or that of the Hereafter. She further said: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say in his last illness in which he' died. I heard him saying in gruffness of the voice: Along with those persons upon whom Allah bestowed favours from amongst the Apostles, the testifiers of truth, the martyrs, the pious and goodly company are they (iv. 69). (It was on bearing these words) that I thought that he had been given choice (and he opted to live with these pious persons in the Paradise)
Traduction en ourdou
محمد بن جعفر نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے سعد بن ابرا ہیم سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے عروہ سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، فر ما یا : میں سناکرتی تھی ۔ کہ کو ئی نبی فوت نہیں ہو تا یہاں تک کہ اس کو دنیا آخرت کے درمیان اختیار دیا جا تا ہے کہا : تو میں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو مرض الموت میں یہ فر ما تے ہو ئے سنا ۔ اس وقت آپ کی آواز بھا ری ہو گئی تھی آپ فر ما رہے تھے : " ان لوگوں کے ساتھ جن پر اللہ تعا لیٰ نے انعام فر ما یا : " یعنی انبیاء ، صدیقین شہداء اور صالحین ( کے ساتھ ) اور یہی بہترین رفیق ہیں ۔ " کہا : تو میں نے سمجھ لیا کہ اس وقت آپ کو اختیا ردے دیا گیا ہے ۔
