كتاب الأشربة
Rapporté par Jabir : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Le diable est présent auprès de chacun de vous dans tout ce qu’il fait, même lorsqu’il mange. Donc, si l’un d’entre vous fait tomber une bouchée, qu’il enlève ce qui pourrait être sale et la mange, et qu’il ne la laisse pas au diable. Et quand il a fini de manger, qu’il lèche ses doigts, car il ne sait pas dans quelle partie de sa nourriture se trouve la bénédiction. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَحْضُرُ أَحَدَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ حَتَّى يَحْضُرَهُ عِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ فَإِذَا سَقَطَتْ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمُ اللُّقْمَةُ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا كَانَ بِهَا مِنْ أَذًى ثُمَّ لْيَأْكُلْهَا وَلاَ يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ فَلْيَلْعَقْ أَصَابِعَهُ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَدْرِي فِي أَىِّ طَعَامِهِ تَكُونُ الْبَرَكَةُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Jabir reported:I heard Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: The Satan is present with any one of you in everything he does; he is present even when he eats food; so if any one of you drops a mouthful he should remove away anything filthy on it and eat it and not leave for the devil; and when he finishes (food) he should lick his fingers, for he does not know in what portion of his food the blessing lies
Traduction en ourdou
جریر نے اعمش سے ، انھوں نے ابو سفیان سے ، انھوں نے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : شیطان تم میں سے ہر ایک کی ہر حالت میں اس کے پاس حاضر ہوتاہے حتیٰ کہ کھانے کے وقت بھی ، جب تم میں سے کسی سے لقمہ گرجائے تو جو کچھ اسے لگ گیا ہے ۔ اسے صاف کرکے کھالے اور اسے شیطان کے لئے نہ چھوڑے اور جب ( کھانے سے ) فارغ ہوتوا پنی انگلیاں چاٹ لے کیونکہ اسے پتہ نہیں کہ اس کے کھانے کے کس حصے میں برکت ہے ۔
