كتاب الأضاحي
Rapporté par ‘Amr b. Muslim b. ‘Ammar al-Laithi : Alors que nous étions dans un bain public juste avant l’Aïd al-Adha, certaines personnes ont essayé d’enlever leurs poils avec des produits dépilatoires. Certains propriétaires du bain (ou des personnes présentes) ont alors dit que Sa’id b. Musayyib n’approuvait pas cela, ou qu’il l’interdisait. Plus tard, j’ai rencontré Sa’id b. Musayyib et je lui ai parlé de cette histoire. Il m’a répondu : « Mon neveu, ce hadith a été oublié et délaissé. Umm Salama, l’épouse du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, m’a rapporté que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ avait dit ce qui a été mentionné plus haut. »

حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ، قَالَ كُنَّا فِي الْحَمَّامِ قُبَيْلَ الأَضْحَى فَاطَّلَى فِيهِ نَاسٌ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْحَمَّامِ إِنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ يَكْرَهُ هَذَا أَوْ يَنْهَى عَنْهُ فَلَقِيتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي هَذَا حَدِيثٌ قَدْ نُسِيَ وَتُرِكَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو .
Traduction anglaise
Amr b. Muslim b. 'Ammar al-Laithi reported:While we were in a bathroom just before 'Id al-Adha some of the persons tried to remove the hair with the help of hair-removing chemicals. Thereupon some of the people owning the bath (or some of the people sitting therein) said that Sa'id b. Musayyib did not approve of it, or he prohibited it. Then I met Sa'id b. Musayyib and made a mention of that to him, whereupon he said: O my nephew, this is the hadith which has been forgotten, and abandoned. Umm Salama, the wife of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), narrated to me Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said as narrated above
Traduction en ourdou
ابواسامہ نے کہا : مجھے محمد بن عمرو نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں عمرو بن مسلم بن عمارہ لیثی نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : عیدالاضحیٰ سے کچھ پہلے حمام میں تھے ، بعض لوگوں نے چونے سے اپنے بال صاف کیے ، اہل حمام میں سے کسی شخص نے کہا : سعید بن مسیب اس فعل ( عیدالاضحیٰ کی نماز پڑھنے اور قربانی کرنے سے پہلے جسم پر سے بال وغیرہ کاٹنے یا مونڈنے ) کو مکروہ قرار دیتے ہیں یا اس سے منع کرتے ہیں ۔ میری سعید بن مسیب سے ملاقات ہوئی تو میں نے ان سے اس بات کا ذکر کیا ۔ انھوں نے کہا : بھتیجے!یہ حدیث بھلا دی گئی اور ترک کردی گئی ہے ۔ ، ( یہ پابندی ملحوظ نہیں رکھی جاتی ویسے ) مجھے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ محترمہ ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے یہ حدیث بیان کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ۔ ۔ ۔ آگے محمد بن عمر و سے معاذ کی حدیث کےہم معنی حدیث بیان کی ۔
