Hadith 4288 — Livre 27: The Book of Oaths
كتاب الأيمان
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Soulayman b. Dawud a dit : « Je vais certainement avoir des rapports avec soixante-dix épouses cette nuit, et chacune d’elles donnera naissance à un enfant qui combattra pour la cause d’Allah. » On lui a dit : « Dis : “Insha’ Allah” (si Allah le veut) », mais il ne l’a pas dit et il a oublié. Il est allé les voir, mais aucune n’a eu d’enfant sauf une, et c’était un enfant incomplet. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « S’il avait dit “Insha’ Allah”, il n’aurait pas échoué et son souhait se serait réalisé. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنُ هَمَّامٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ لأُطِيفَنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ عَلَى سَبْعِينَ امْرَأَةً تَلِدُ كُلُّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ غُلاَمًا يُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ . فَقِيلَ لَهُ قُلْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ . فَلَمْ يَقُلْ . فَأَطَافَ بِهِنَّ فَلَمْ تَلِدْ مِنْهُنَّ إِلاَّ امْرَأَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ نِصْفَ إِنْسَانٍ . قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ قَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ . لَمْ يَحْنَثْ وَكَانَ دَرَكًا لِحَاجَتِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported that Sulaiman b. Dawud said:I will certainly have intercourse with seventy wives during the night, and every wife amongst them will give birth to a child, who will fight in the cause of Allah. It was said to him: Say:" Insha' Allah" (God willing), but he did not say so and forgot it. He went round them but none of them give birth to a child except one woman and that too was an incomplete person. Upon this Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: If he had said" Insha' Allah." he would not have failed, and his desire must have been fulfilled

طاوس کے بیٹے نے اپنے والد سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : حضرت سلیمان بن داود علیہ السلام نے کہا : آج رات میں ستر عورتوں کے پاس چکر لگاؤں گا ، ان میں سے ہر عورت ( بیوی یا کنیز ) ایک بچے کو جنم دے گی جو اللہ کی راہ میں لڑائی کرے گا ۔ تو ان سے کہا گیا : ان شاءاللہ کہئے ۔ انہوں نے نہ کہا ( انہیں بھلا دیا گیا ) ۔ وہ ان کے پاس گئے تو ان میں سے صرف ایک عورت نے ادھے انسان کو جنم دیا ۔ کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " اگر وہ ان شاءاللہ کہہ لیتے تو قسم تشنہ تکمیل نہ رہتی اور یہ ( قسم ) ان کے دل کی حاجت پوری ہونے کا ذریعہ بھی بن جاتی
