Hadith 539 — Livre 2: The Book of Purification
كتاب الطهارة
Rapporté par Humran, l’affranchi de ‘Uthman رضي الله عنه : J’ai vu ‘Uthman demander un récipient d’eau, verser de l’eau sur ses mains trois fois et les laver. Puis il a plongé sa main droite dans le récipient, s’est rincé la bouche et a nettoyé son nez. Ensuite, il a lavé son visage trois fois, ses mains jusqu’aux coudes trois fois, puis il a essuyé sa tête, puis il a lavé ses pieds trois fois. Ensuite, il a dit que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ avait dit : « Celui qui fait ses ablutions comme je viens de le faire et prie deux unités sans se laisser distraire, tous ses péchés passés seront pardonnés. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ، مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى عُثْمَانَ دَعَا بِإِنَاءٍ فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَمِينَهُ فِي الإِنَاءِ فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لاَ يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Humran, the freed slave of 'Uthman said:I saw Uthman call for a vessel (of water) and poured water over his hands three times and then washed them. Then he put his right hand in the vessel and rinsed his mouth and cleaned his nose. Then he washed his face three times and his hands up to the elbow three times; then wiped his head, then washed his feet three times. Then he said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said: He who performed ablution like this ablution of mine and offered two raka`ahs of prayer without allowing his thoughts to be distracted, all his previous sins would be expiated
Traduction en ourdou
یعقوب کے والد ابراہیم ( بن سعد ) نے ابن شہاب سے باقی ماندہ سند کے ساتھ حمران سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا ، انہوں نے پانی کا برتن منگوایا ، پھر اپنے ہاتھوں پر تین بار پانی انڈیلا اور ان کو دھویا ، پھر اپنا دایاں ہاتھ برتن میں ڈالا اور کلی کی اور ( ناک میں پانی ڈال کر ) ناک جھاڑی ، پھر تین بار اپنا چہرہ دھویا اور تین بار اپنے دونوں بازو کہنیوں تک دھوئے ، پھر سر کا مسح کیا ، پھر دو رکعتیں پڑھیں جن میں ( وہ ) اپنے آپ سے باتیں نہ کر رہا تھا ، اس کے گزشتہ گناہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے ۔ ‘ ‘
