كتاب الطهارة
Rapporté par Humran, l’affranchi de ‘Uthman رضي الله عنه : J’ai entendu ‘Uthman b. ‘Affan alors qu’il était dans la cour de la mosquée, quand le muezzin est venu à l’heure de la prière de l’après-midi. ‘Uthman a demandé de l’eau pour les ablutions, a fait ses ablutions, puis a dit : « Par Allah, je vais vous rapporter un hadith. S’il n’y avait pas un verset dans le Livre d’Allah, je ne vous l’aurais jamais transmis. J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : “Si un musulman fait bien ses ablutions et prie, Allah pardonne tous ses péchés commis entre deux prières.” »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِقُتَيْبَةَ - قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ، مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ، وَهُوَ بِفِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَجَاءَهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ عِنْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لأُحَدِّثَنَّكُمْ حَدِيثًا لَوْلاَ آيَةٌ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ مَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " لاَ يَتَوَضَّأُ رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ فَيُحْسِنُ الْوُضُوءَ فَيُصَلِّي صَلاَةً إِلاَّ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الصَّلاَةِ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Humran. the freed slave of 'Uthman. said:I heard from 'Uthman b. 'Affan and he was in the courtyard of the mosque, when the Mu'adhdhin (announcer of the prayer) came to him at the time of afternoon prayer. So the ('Uthman) called for the ablution water and performed ablution and then said: By Allah, I am narrating to you a hadith. If there were not a verse in the Book of Allah, I would have never narrated it to you. I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say: If a Muslim performs ablution and does it well and offers prayer, all his (sins) daring the period from one prayer to another would be pardoned by Allah
Traduction en ourdou
جریر نے ہشام بن عروہ سے ، انہوں نے اپنے والد ( عروہ بن زبیر ) سے ، انہوں نے حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے آزادکردہ غلام حمران سےروایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ مسجد کے آنگن میں تھے اور عصر کے وقت ان کے پاس مؤذن آیا تو انہوں نے وضو کے لیے پانی منگایا ، وضوکیا ، پھر فرمایا : اللہ کی قسم! میں تمہیں ایک حدیث سناتا ہوں ، اگر کتاب اللہ کی ایک آیت نہ ہوتی تو میں تمہیں نہ سناتا ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سےسنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : ’’ جومسلمان وضو کرے اور اچھی طرح وضو کرے ، پھر نماز پڑھے تو اس کے وہ گناہ معاف کر دیے جاتے ہیں جو اس نماز اور اگلی نماز کے درمیان ہوں گے ۔ ‘ ‘
