Hadith 3760 — Livre 19: The Book of Invoking Curses
كتاب اللعان
Rapporté par 'Abdullah b. Shaddad : On a parlé des personnes qui invoquent la malédiction devant Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما. Ibn Shaddad a demandé : « S’agit-il des deux personnes à propos desquelles le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : “Si je devais lapider quelqu’un sans preuve, je l’aurais sûrement lapidée” ? » Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما a répondu : « Ce n’est pas cette femme ; c’est celle qui a commis l’adultère ouvertement. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَمْرٍو - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ، عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ وَذُكِرَ الْمُتَلاَعِنَانِ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ ابْنُ شَدَّادٍ أَهُمَا اللَّذَانِ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ كُنْتُ رَاجِمًا أَحَدًا بِغَيْرِ بَيِّنَةٍ لَرَجَمْتُهَا " . فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لاَ تِلْكَ امْرَأَةٌ أَعْلَنَتْ . قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah b Shaddad reported that mention was made about the invokers of curses before Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them). Ibn Shaddad said:Are these the two about whom Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said." If I were to stone one without evidence, I would have definitely stoned her"? Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) said: She is not this woman; but she is the one who (committed adultery) openly
Traduction en ourdou
قاسم بن محمد سے روایت ہے ابن عباس رضی اﷲ عنہما کے سامنے لعان والوں کا ذکر ہوا تو عبداﷲ بن شداد نے کہا ان ہی میں وہ عورت تھی جس کے لیے رسول اﷲ ﷺ نے فرمایا تھا اگر میں کسی کو بغیر گواہوں کے رجم کرتا تو اس عورت کو رجم کرتا ۔ ابن عباس رضی اﷲ عنہما نے کہا نہیں وہ عورت دوسری عورت تھی جو علانیہ بدکار تھی ۔
