كتاب الحج
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنه : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Celui qui supporte avec patience les difficultés et les épreuves de cette ville, c’est-à-dire Médine, je serai son témoin et son intercesseur le Jour de la Résurrection. »

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ، عَنْ قَطَنٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يُحَنِّسَ، مَوْلَى مُصْعَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَى لأْوَائِهَا وَشِدَّتِهَا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) said:I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who patiently endured the hardships and rigours of (this city, i. e. Medina), I would be his witness and intercessor on the Day of Resurrection
Traduction en ourdou
ضحاک نے ہمیں قطن خزاعی سے خبر دی ، انھوں نے مصعب کے مولیٰ یحس سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا : " جس نے اس ( شہر ) کی تنگدستی اورسختی پر صبر کیا ، میں قیامت کے دن اس کا گواہ ہوں گایا سفارشی ۔ " ان کی مراد مدینہ سے تھی ۔
