كتاب الحج
Rapporté par Hisham ibn ‘Urwa d’après son père : J’ai dit à Aïcha رضي الله عنها : « Je ne vois pas de mal à ne pas faire le tour entre al-Safa et al-Marwa. » Elle a dit : « Sur quoi te bases-tu pour dire cela ? » J’ai répondu : « Car Allah, le Très-Haut, dit : “En vérité, al-Safa et al-Marwa font partie des signes d’Allah.” Si ce que tu disais était vrai, le verset aurait dit : “Il n’y a pas de mal à ne pas faire le tour entre eux.” Ce verset a été révélé au sujet des Ansar. Quand ils faisaient le Talbiya, ils le faisaient au nom d’al-Manat à l’époque de l’ignorance ; ils pensaient donc qu’il n’était pas permis de faire le tour entre al-Safa et al-Marwa. Quand les musulmans sont venus avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ pour le Hajj, ils lui ont parlé de cela. Alors Allah, le Très-Haut, a révélé ce verset. Par ma vie, Allah n’accepte pas le Hajj de celui qui n’a pas fait le tour entre al-Safa et al-Marwa. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ مَا أَرَى عَلَىَّ جُنَاحًا أَنْ لاَ أَتَطَوَّفَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ . قَالَتْ لِمَ قُلْتُ لأَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ { إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ} الآيَةَ . فَقَالَتْ لَوْ كَانَ كَمَا تَقُولُ لَكَانَ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لاَ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا . إِنَّمَا أُنْزِلَ هَذَا فِي أُنَاسٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ كَانُوا إِذَا أَهَلُّوا أَهَلُّوا لِمَنَاةَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَلاَ يَحِلُّ لَهُمْ أَنْ يَطَّوَّفُوا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَلَمَّا قَدِمُوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِلْحَجِّ ذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى هَذِهِ الآيَةَ فَلَعَمْرِي مَا أَتَمَّ اللَّهُ حَجَّ مَنْ لَمْ يَطُفْ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
Hisham b. 'Urwa narrated on the authority of his father who reported:I said to 'A'isha: I do not see any harm to me if I do not circumambulate betweez al-Safa' and al-Marwa. She said: On what ground do you say so? (I said: ) Since Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, says:" Verily al-Safa' and al-Marwa are among the Signs of Allah." It (your assertion) were (correct), it would have been said like this:" There is no harm for him, that he should not circumambulate between them." It (this verse) has been revealed about the people of Ansar. Whenever they pronounced the Talbiya, they pronounced it in the name of al-Manat during the Days of Ignorance; so they (thought) that it was not permissible for them (for the Muslims) to circumambulate between and al-Marwa. When they (the Muslims) came with Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) for Hajj, they mentioned it to him. So Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, revealed this verse. By my life, Allah will not complete the Hajj of one who has not circumambulated between al-Safa and al-Marwa
Traduction en ourdou
ابو اسامہ نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، ( کہا : ) ہمیں ہشام بن عروہ نے حدیث بیان کی کہ مجھے میرے والد ( عروہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ) خبر دی ، کہا : میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے عرض کی ، میں اس بات میں اپنے اوپر کوئی گناہ نہیں سمجھتا کہ میں ( حج وعمرہ کے دوان میں ) صفا مروہ کے درمیان سعی نہ کروں ۔ انھوں نے فرمایا : کیوں؟میں نے عرض کی : اس لئے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے ۔ : " بلا شبہ صفا مروہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ہیں ۔ ( پھر جو کوئی بیت اللہ کاحج کرے یا عمرہ اس پر گناہ نہیں کہ وہ ان دونوں کاطواف کرے ۔ ) " انھوں نے فرمایا اگر ( قرآن کی آیت کا ) وہ مفہوم ہوتا جو تم کہتے ہو ، تو یہ حصہ اس طرح ہوتا : " اس شخص پر کوئی گناہ نہیں جو ان دونوں کاطواف نہ کرے ۔ " اصل میں یہ آیت انصار کے بعض لوگوں کے متعلق نازل ہوئی ۔ وہ جاہلیت میں جب تلبیہ پکارتے تو مناۃ ( بت ) کا تلبیہ پکارتے تھے ۔ اور ( اس وقت کے عقیدے کے مطابق ) ان کے لئے صفا مروہ کا طواف حلال نہ تھا ، جب وہ لوگ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ حج پرآئے ۔ تو آپ سے اپنے اسی پرانے عمل کا ذکر کیا اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے آیت نازل فرمائی ۔ مجھے اپنی زندگی ( دینے والے ) کی قسم! اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص کا حج پورا نہیں فرماتا جو صفا مروہ کا طواف نہیں کرتا ۔
