Hadith 2389 — Livre 12: The Book of Zakat
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Mu’awiya رضي الله عنه : Faites attention aux hadiths, sauf à ceux qui étaient connus à l’époque de Omar, car il encourageait les gens à craindre Allah, le Très-Haut. J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Celui à qui Allah veut du bien, Il lui donne la compréhension de la religion. » Et j’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Je suis le trésorier. Celui à qui je donne de bon cœur, il sera béni avec cela ; mais celui à qui je donne à cause de ses demandes insistantes et de son avidité, c’est comme s’il mangeait sans jamais être rassasié. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَحْصَبِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، يَقُولُ إِيَّاكُمْ وَأَحَادِيثَ إِلاَّ حَدِيثًا كَانَ فِي عَهْدِ عُمَرَ فَإِنَّ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُخِيفُ النَّاسَ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ " . وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّمَا أَنَا خَازِنٌ فَمَنْ أَعْطَيْتُهُ عَنْ طِيبِ نَفْسٍ فَيُبَارَكُ لَهُ فِيهِ وَمَنْ أَعْطَيْتُهُ عَنْ مَسْأَلَةٍ وَشَرَهٍ كَانَ كَالَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَلاَ يَشْبَعُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Mu'awiya said:Be cautious about ahadith except those which were current during the reign of Umar, for he exhorted people to fear Allah, the Exalted and mMajestic. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: He upon whom Allah intends to bestow goodness, He confers upon him an insight in religion; and I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: I am the treasurer. To one whom I give out of (my own) sweet will, he would be blessed in that, but he whom I give (yielding to) his constant begging and for his covetousness is like one who would eat, but would not be satisfied
Traduction en ourdou
عبد اللہ بن عامر یحصبی نے کہا میں نے حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو کہتے ہو ئے سنا : تم اس حدیث کے سوا جو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے دور میں ( بیان کی جا تی ) تھی دوسری احادیث بیان کرنے سے بچو کیونکہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ لو گوں کو ( روایا ت کے سلسلے میں بھی ) اللہ کا خوف دلا یا کرتےتھے میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا آپ فر ما رہے تھے " اللہ تعالیٰ جس کے ساتھ بھلا ئی کرنا چا ہتا ہے اسے دین میں گہرا فہم عطا فر ما دیتا ہے اور میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فر ما تے ہو ئے بھی سنا : " میں تو بس خزانچی ہوں جس کو میں خوش دلی سے دوں اس کے لیے اس میں برکت ڈا ل دی جا ئے گی اور جس کو میں مانگنے پر اور ( اس کے ) حرص کے سبب سے دو ں اس کی حا لت اس نسان جیسی ہو گی جو کھا تا ہے اور سیر نہیں ہو تا ۔
