كتاب الإيمان
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « La foi est chez les Yéménites, et l’incroyance est à l’Est. La tranquillité est chez ceux qui élèvent des chèvres et des moutons, et l’orgueil ainsi que la prétention sont chez les propriétaires de chevaux et de chameaux qui sont rudes et incivils. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ، حُجْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، - قَالَ ابْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلاَءُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْكُفْرُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ وَالْفَخْرُ وَالرِّيَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ الْخَيْلِ وَالْوَبَرِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed:The belief is among the Yemenites, and the unbelief is towards the East, and tranquillity is among those who rear goats and sheep, and pride and simulation is among the uncivil and rude owners of horses and camels
Traduction en ourdou
علاء ( بن عبدالرحمان الجہنی ) نے اپنے والد سے ، انہوں نے ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ ایمان یمن سے ہے ، کفر مشرق کی طرف سے ، سکون و اطمینان بھیڑ بکریاں پالنے والوں میں اور فخرو ریا شور شرابے کے عادی گھوڑے پالنے والوں اور اونی خیموں کے باسی ، چلانے والوں میں ہے ۔ ‘ ‘
