Rapporté par Abu Huraira : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire ceci : « L’orgueil et la vanité se trouvent chez les propriétaires de chameaux qui sont rudes, et la tranquillité se trouve chez les propriétaires de moutons et de chèvres. »

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الْفَخْرُ وَالْخُيَلاَءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ الْوَبَرِ وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira:I heard the Messenger of Allah saying this: Pride and conceitedness is found among the uncivil owners of the camels and tranquillity is found among the owners of sheep and goats

یونس نے ابن شہاب سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : مجھے ابو سلمہ بن عبد الرحمٰن نے خبر دی کہ حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں نے رسو ل اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : ’’فخر و تکبر چلا کر بولنے والے ، خیموں کے باسیوں میں ہے اور اطمینان و سکون بھیڑ بکریاں والوں میں ہے ۔ ‘ ‘
