حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Shurahbil bin Muslim said:"I heard Abu Um Amah Al-Bahili say: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "The child is for the bed and the fornicator gets nothing

ابوامامہ باہلی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: بچہ صاحب فراش کا ہے، اور زانی کے لیے پتھر ہے ۱؎۔
