Rapporté par Ibn Umar : Lorsque Uthman ibn Maz’un est décédé, il a laissé une fille. Ibn Umar a dit : Mon oncle maternel Qudamah, qui était aussi son oncle paternel, m’a marié avec elle, sans la consulter. Cela s’est passé après la mort de son père. Elle n’aimait pas ce mariage et voulait épouser Mughirah ibn Shubah, alors elle l’a épousé

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الصَّائِغُ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، . أَنَّهُ حِينَ هَلَكَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَظْعُونٍ تَرَكَ ابْنَةً لَهُ . قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَزَوَّجَنِيهَا خَالِي قُدَامَةُ وَهُوَ عَمُّهَا وَلَمْ يُشَاوِرْهَا وَذَلِكَ بَعْدَ مَا هَلَكَ أَبُوهَا فَكَرِهَتْ نِكَاحَهُ وَأَحَبَّتِ الْجَارِيَةُ أَنْ يُزَوِّجَهَا الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ فَزَوَّجَهَا إِيَّاهُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn Umar that:when Uthman bin Mazun died, he left behind a daughter. Ibn Umar said: “My maternal uncle Qudamah, who was her paternal uncle, married me to her, but he did not consult her. That was after her father had died. She did not like this marriage, and the girl wanted to marry Mughirah bin Shubah, so she married him.”

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ جب عثمان بن مظعون رضی اللہ عنہ کا انتقال ہوا، تو انہوں نے ایک بیٹی چھوڑی، عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میری شادی اس لڑکی سے میرے ماموں قدامہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کرا دی جو اس لڑکی کے چچا تھے، اور اس سے مشورہ نہیں لیا، یہ اس وقت کا ذکر ہے جب اس کے والد کا انتقال ہو چکا تھا، اس لڑکی نے یہ نکاح ناپسند کیا، اور اس نے چاہا کہ اس کا نکاح مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کر دیا جائے، آخر قدامہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کا نکاح مغیرہ ہی سے کر دیا ۱؎۔
