كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Thawban : Lorsque le verset concernant l’argent et l’or a été révélé, ils ont demandé : « Quelle richesse devons-nous acquérir ? » Umar a dit : « Je vais vous le dire. » Il est monté sur son chameau, a rattrapé le Prophète ﷺ, et je l’ai suivi. Il a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, quelle richesse devons-nous acquérir ? » Il a répondu : « Que l’un de vous acquière un cœur reconnaissant, une langue qui se souvient d’Allah et une épouse croyante qui l’aide pour l’au-delà. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَ فِي الْفِضَّةِ وَالذَّهَبِ مَا نَزَلَ قَالُوا فَأَىَّ الْمَالِ نَتَّخِذُ قَالَ عُمَرُ فَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ لَكُمْ ذَلِكَ . فَأَوْضَعَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ فَأَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَأَنَا فِي أَثَرِهِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىَّ الْمَالِ نَتَّخِذُ فَقَالَ " لِيَتَّخِذْ أَحَدُكُمْ قَلْبًا شَاكِرًا وَلِسَانًا ذَاكِرًا وَزَوْجَةً مُؤْمِنَةً تُعِينُ أَحَدَكُمْ عَلَى أَمْرِ الآخِرَةِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that:Thawban said: “When the Verse concerning silver and gold was revealed, they said: 'What kind of wealth should we acquire?' Umar said: 'I will tell you about that.' So he rode on his camel and caught up with the Prophet, and I followed him. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah what kind of wealth should we acquire?' He said: 'Let one of you acquire a thankful heart, a tongue that remembers Allah and a believing wife who will help him with regard to the Hereafter.' ”
Traduction en ourdou
ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب سونے اور چاندی کے بارے میں آیت اتری تو لوگ کہنے لگے کہ اب کون سا مال ہم اپنے لیے رکھیں؟ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں اسے تمہارے لیے معلوم کر کے کر آتا ہوں، اور اپنے اونٹ پر سوار ہو کر اسے تیز دوڑایا اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس پہنچے، میں بھی آپ کے پیچھے تھا، انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم کون سا مال رکھیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں ہر کوئی شکر کرنے والا دل، ذکر کرنے والی زبان، اور ایمان والی بیوی رکھے جو اس کی آخرت کے کاموں میں مدد کرے ۱؎۔
