Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) faisait l’I’tikaf dix jours chaque année. L’année de sa mort, il a fait l’I’tikaf vingt jours. Le Coran lui était révisé une fois chaque année, mais l’année de sa mort, il l’a révisé deux fois

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَعْتَكِفُ كُلَّ عَامٍ عَشْرَةَ أَيَّامٍ فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْعَامُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ اعْتَكَفَ عِشْرِينَ يَوْمًا وَكَانَ يُعْرَضُ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ مَرَّةً فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْعَامُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:“The Prophet (ﷺ) used to observe I’tikaf for ten days every year. In the year in which he passed away, he observed I’tikaf for twenty days. And the Qur’an would be reviewed with him once every year, but in the year in which he passed away, it was reviewed with him twice.”

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر سال دس دن کا اعتکاف کرتے تھے، جس سال آپ کی وفات ہوئی اس سال آپ نے بیس دن کا اعتکاف کیا ۱؎ اور ہر سال ایک بار قرآن کا دور آپ سے کرایا جاتا تھا، جس سال آپ کی وفات ہوئی اس سال دو بار آپ سے دور کرایا گیا ۲؎۔
