Rapporté par ‘Atiyyah bin Sufyan bin ‘Abdullah bin Rabi’ah : Notre délégation, qui est allée voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) pour annoncer l’islam de Thaqif, nous a raconté qu’ils sont venus à lui pendant le Ramadan. Il leur a installé une tente dans la mosquée, et quand ils sont devenus musulmans, ils ont jeûné le reste du mois

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَفْدُنَا الَّذِينَ، قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِإِسْلاَمِ ثَقِيفٍ . قَالَ وَقَدِمُوا عَلَيْهِ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَضَرَبَ عَلَيْهِمْ قُبَّةً فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمُوا صَامُوا مَا بَقِيَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Atiyyah bin Sufyan bin ‘Abdullah bin Rabi’ah said:“Our delegation who went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to announce the Islam of Thaqif told us that they came to him in Ramadan. He set up a tent for them in the mosque, and when they became Muslim, they fasted what was left of the month.”
Traduction en ourdou
عطیہ بن سفیان کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے اس وفد نے جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں گیا تھا، ہم سے بنو ثقیف کے قبول اسلام کا واقعہ بیان کیا کہ بنو ثقیف نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں رمضان میں آئے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے لیے مسجد میں ایک خیمہ لگایا، جب ان لوگوں نے اسلام قبول کر لیا، تو رمضان کے جو دن باقی رہ گئے تھے، ان میں انہوں نے روزے رکھے ۱؎۔
