Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Si je vis jusqu’à l’année prochaine, je jeûnerai aussi le neuvième jour (de Muharram). »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبَّاسِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لَئِنْ بَقِيتُ إِلَى قَابِلٍ لأَصُومَنَّ الْيَوْمَ التَّاسِعَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“If I live until next year, I will fast the ninth day (of Muharram) too.”

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہا کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر میں اگلے سال زندہ رہا تو محرم کی نویں تاریخ کو بھی روزہ رکھوں گا ۔ ابوعلی کہتے ہیں: اسے احمد بن یونس نے ابن ابی ذئب سے روایت کیا ہے، اس میں اتنا زیادہ ہے: اس خوف سے کہ عاشوراء آپ سے فوت نہ ہو جائے ۔
