Rapporté par ‘Aishah : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) jeûnait le jour de ‘Ashura’ et il ordonnait aussi de jeûner ce jour-là. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَصُومُ عَاشُورَاءَ، وَيَأْمُرُ بِصِيَامِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast ‘Ashura’, and he ordered (others) to fast it too.”

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عاشوراء ( محرم کی دسویں تاریخ ) کا روزہ رکھتے، اور اس کے رکھنے کا حکم دیتے تھے ۱؎۔
